Rainy Season Reasons to Visit Siem Reap

As is the case elsewhere in Southeast Asia, rainy season in Siem Reap doesn’t mean constant rainfall.  In fact the rain tends to fall in afternoon showers. There’s still plenty of sunshine, and the rain helps the flowers bloom, the butterflies flutter, and the rainforest sparkle in green tones. It’s a much quieter time to go.

The temples of Angkor look fantastic with their moats full and with less tourists and you’ll wander without crowds among the most famous temples.

Angkor Zipline is in the heart of the Park’s jungle, and if you book your eco-adventure early in the morning, it will be cooler and the chance of heavy rain will be minimal.
